You and Community Stewardship

Community stewardship empowers residents at Yours South Lynn to take responsibility and a pride in their environment. Each resident can influence decisions that affect their community.

Every group of courtyard homes manages its own affairs and works with other courtyard groups to look after Yours South Lynn, alongside representatives from business, retail, community and faith groups.

Courtyard teams work together to maintain the environment, organise courtyard events and street parties.

Residents attend courtyard meetings and discuss and vote on issues such as maintenance, organising events and any other issues.

Representatives of the courtyard teams are nominated to join residents teams whose responsibilities include management and implementation of Home Zones, neighbourhood watch and safety, event management and setting budgets.
