The Partners

The ambitious plans for Yours South Lynn and the wider regeneration of the Nar Ouse Regeneration Area of King's Lynn have been enabled through the investment of public and private funding from a unique partnership between several bodies. Total investment to date amounts to more than 30 million and over the course of the project it will exceed 200 million.

The Yours South Lynn partners include:

Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk.
The Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk provides a broad range of local services to improve quality of life in King's Lynn and other West Norfolk towns and villages. The borough council's responsibilities include planning and economic development and waste collection and recycling. The borough council also owns and manages local leisure facilities.

Norfolk County Council
Norfolk County Council is the local authority for Norfolk. It provides a wide range of services for people who live, work, do business or visit there. They include education, social services, highway maintenance, waste disposal, libraries, museums, fire and rescue, economic development and trading standards.

English Partnerships
English Partnerships is the government's national regeneration agency. Its aim is to deliver high quality, sustainable growth in England and create communities where people can afford to live and want to live.

East of England Development Agency (EEDA)
EEDA is one of the key driving forces behind sustainable economic growth and regeneration in the East of England. Its task is to improve the region's economic performance and ensure the East of England remains one of the UK's top performing regions.

The Environment Agency
The Environment Agency is the leading public body for protecting and improving the environment in England and Wales. Its job is to make sure that air, land and water are looked after by everyone in today's society, so that tomorrow's generations inherit a cleaner, healthier world.
