Children

Two children playing

King's Lynn has a number of interesting activities to entertain children young and old.

Within the Yours South Lynn development every courtyard garden will contain an equipped play area. The home zones, new football pitch, multi-use games area and over 15 acres of green space will provide plenty of space to explore, learn and play in.

Further afield, The Green Quay is a discovery centre packed full of fun and interactive information about The Wash and its wildlife. Featuring a salt water aquarium, bird watching gallery with telescopes, children's activity packs, interactive displays and film shows the centre educates and informs visitors on the unique natural resource of The Wash in a fun and enlightening way.

"The children naturally spend time together from a very young age, they have to get on well together. There is an opinion held by residents that this benefits the children in later life." Resident of an Eric Lyons-designed Span Estate home

Imagination can run riot at atmospheric Tales of the Old Gaol House, where the true tales of the town's highwaymen, robbers and smugglers are brought to life.

North norfolk coastline

Just up the coast from King's Lynn is 'Sunny Hunny' - the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton. Featuring a promenade, amusement arcades, crazy golf, sightseeing tours out into the Wash and a large, clean beach, it is the perfect place to entertain the kids. Don't miss the Seal Sanctuary!
